Just wanted to share some information with all of you. I think a large number of us are already aware that kibble is really quite bad for our kiddos. And we know that it is made with low quality ingredients and ingredients that are generally not fit for human consumption. We know this from stuff we have read online etc.
Anyway, I am currently at an IT conference in Colorado, USA and was speaking to an IT partner and what he told me confirmed everything that I have read.
The IT solution that we are dealing with has a very good routing system, and he gave me a real life example of how the routing system is used by his client - a pet food manufacturer of a premium brand of kibble.
The routing system is used to schedule, route, track and monitor this pet food company's trucks when they go and make their rounds to restaurants, supermarkets, abattoirs (and any organisation that deals with meat in any shape or form) and collect all the remnants e.g. left over food including packaging like styrofoam and plastics etc; food that have been thrown away including used oils and fats; spoilt and rotten meat; by products including entrails, heads, feet, hooves; carcasses from farms i.e. dead animals and not slaughtered animals, and the list goes on...This company basically collects garbage from all of these places...
And all of this goes into your "fancy" kibble! So please, if you love your pets
STOP FEEDING THEM GARBAGE!!!

I feed my fur kids raw too! Other than chicken what other meat do you feed Cleo? Currently I'm feeding my babies goat meat as base, turkey and pork. I'm reluctant to try chicken or beef again as my golden boy don't seems to be doing well with it. Are we able to find any good decent price rabbit meat in Malaysia if you know? Or maybe even kangaroo meat? Please let me know.

Hi there,
Cleo and co eat pork, lamb, buffalo, chicken, beef and fish. Sometimes they get turkey or goat meat depending on what I chance upon.
They have not gotten rabbit yet cause it's quite expensive. I do know that there's a rabbit farm near Bestari Jaya. Have passed it a few times but don't have the details for it though...
Kangaroo meat is going to be quite hard to come by here I think.
Hi Natasha,
My name is Yuan and I was the anonymous poster on Dec 16 post. Is there anyway I can talk to you easier? Maybe we can whatapps? I can only whatapps you as I don't have a local cellphone. I'm currently living in JB and travel in and out to Singapore on a daily basis, hence I carry Singapore number.
What I want to talk about is basically about diets for my fur babies and their general health. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but they still don't seems to be doing well even though been on a raw diet for almost 3 years already. My lab girl apparently is zinc deficiency according to the vet here. So, I'm supplementing both my babies with multivites which consist of zinc too.
It's my suspicion that I spayed her far too early at 6 months! Yeah, she got her heat at 6 months on the dot! So, I hastily spayed her without going in-depth into the matter. Only much later I found out that the cons outweigh the pros if a dog was spayed/neutered before reaching 1 year old. In fact ideally a dog should be spayed/neutered at 1 1/2 year old. Maybe that is why my baby girl has some skin problem. BTW my hp is 02-96549186 if you want to chat on whatsapp. Would be a lot more easier to communicate.
Cheers!
Yuan
Hi Natasha,
I've not heard from your last reply and I understand perfectly well if you were reluctant to whatsapp me. You might never know who you were communicating with that kind of thingy, so, no worry about it.
I would like to know if you know any other raw feeder in Malaysia. My suspect is that perhaps I'm not feeding them enough of variety of meat. Goat meat makes up their bulk of diet follow by turkey and then sometimes pork. The reason why I'm feeding them such less variety is not because I'm stingy but I couldn't find healthy, hygienic resources. For example, the pork I bought is from Singapore and I really still don't feel comfortable feeding them pork as the pig ate corn which is actually the prime culprit of most domesticated animals' skin problems. I tried feeding them fish and it was hilarious. Ended up I fried all the sardines and ate it up myself. As mentioned in my first post about beef, my boy didn't do well and I'm really reluctant to try again. Oh at that time I bought the beef from Singapore which was imported from either OZ or NZ. I figured if he don't even do well on imported beef what makes me think he could do well with local beef hence the mental blockage there. Maybe I should give a try.
I found a rabbit meat supplier but he won't let me go to his farm. He said to go to his house where he kept all the frozen once. As it's rainy season now, I'm worried he might sell me those rabbits that has been drowned by flood water which in turn contaminated!
Truly I feel very stress feeding my two babies.
So, if you know any other raw feeders in Malaysia can you point me to them. I really want to get more advice on how to source for good hygienic meat.
Thanks a bunch!
Peng
