hi all
have been neglecting the blog for a while... have a new kitten... we rescued it in the middle of the night on Saturday...
it was smack in the middle of the road and didn't run away eventhough our very large and noisy Land Rover approached.
so I got down and went to look at it and realised that it couldn't see cause it's eyes were glued shut from a severe infection.
so we took her home, cleaned and fed her. took her to the vet bright and early the next morning (thank goodness my vet is open on sundays - hayward animal clinic in Ampang).
we then discovered she also had a bad cold plus a chest infection and was on the brink of getting pneumonia!
so have been looking after her and giving her meds 4 times a day and applying eye ointments etc...
the good news is that she is doing very well. she has started to run and play now, whereas she just slept all the time the first two days we had her.
she should be as right as rain real soon! will post pictures soon...

Reminds me when I saved my dearest Polar. She was abandoned by her mommy at the staircase near the condo I used to live, hardly know how to walk yet and worst still, she does not know how to poo or pee herself. So I became her mommy, taught her how to ease herself, fed her using the pet's baby bottle (using special milk). She's got into serious worm issue too (got it from her mom). Checked her every now and then, making sure shes warm in her little box...Ahhhh..We brought her to the vet for regular checks and now...She's a healthy gal! tall and slender too...Im sure your kitty will turn out to be like Polar soon! The kitty is doing great... wish i had time to blog but am swamped with work and looking after the little fella...

Mistress has not been blogging either although she doesn't have a decent excuse like going to Mauritious.
She is going to try and chill tomorrow and look at your holiday piccies.
